The
toilet paper shelves are bare in supermarkets around Australia as people around
the country panic-purchase large amounts of this now highly valued commodity so
they can stock up in case the dreaded coronavirus spreads to their neck of the
woods and they are forced indoors for an extended period of time.
It
has reached such a frenzy that a man was recently tasered by police after a
toilet paper dispute in a retail store in Tamworth, New South Wales, while a
group of women in Sydney got into a brawl at a supermarket over a jumbo packet
of toilet paper
