Opening
Absurdity
Who
let the cats out? They’re now reflecting on the gloom while mythologising the
romance of infinity times eternity using a compliance officer’s framework to
frame the unframeable. No cats were let out
Quote
of the Day
“I
look at the world and I see absurdity all around me. People do strange things
constantly, to the point that, for the most part, we manage not to see
it.”
(David Lynch)

What
The?
Near
the end of 2018 a 53-year-old Greek woman was sentenced to 10 years jail for
lying about her primary school record to get a cleaning job that required 6
years of schooling instead of the 5 years the woman in question actually had.
Immediately there was an uproar, locally and internationally, and the woman was
soon after released
An
Absurd Thought or A Thought From The Absurd?
A
table is not a table. A table is a table
Limerick
of the Day
There
was an Old Man of Whitehaven,
Who
danced a quadrille with a Raven;
But
they said, “It’s absurd
To
encourage this bird!”
So
they smashed that old man of Whitehaven
(Edward
Lear)
Yet
More Absurdity…
Good
oil job while drinking cheese the nightman never said; only the nightwoman said
with her feet in a raucous position that typed into all meanings of the word Nirvana
but mostly the band. I wasn’t meant to. Melt the bicycle chair with frothy
platitudes on posters
Modern
Wank
Going
Forward
Politicians
and Corporate big wigs use this phrase ad nauseam thinking it will make them
look like leaders who know what they are doing. So next time you hear this, and
are in the mood, why not reply:
“No
thanks, would rather go backwards…”
Remember
Absurd
responsibly. The Buddhist no harm principle applies here. Do not harm
yourself or others when going absurd. (Maybe what I have just written is
absurd?)
